LKC Medicine Postdoctoral Fellowship

For Overseas Singaporeans/Singapore PRs who are keen on medical research, there is a new research fellowship programme from LKC (see below).  Application window is from 1 April – August.

The award will include a competitive salary, and a research grant of up to S$300k over 3 years.

Key therapeutic areas for LKC:

· Systems biology

SG Buzz Event in Munich

The Overseas Singaporean Unit (OSU) & Singaporeans in Germany Club (SGC) are proud to bring the Singapore (SG) Buzz Event Series to Germany! All Singaporeans and their spouses/partners are cordially invited to attend this event.

Launched in October 2007 by the Overseas Singaporean Unit, SG Buzz is a networking programme featuring luminaries from diverse fields like the arts, entertainment, sports and entrepreneurship, though not limited to these. Speakers hail from either niche or non-traditional fields &

 industries. These informal sessions allow for intimate networking and interaction with the speaker and among Overseas Singaporeans.

Our guest speaker will be Mr Wong Mun Summ, Co-founding Director of WOHA, a regional design practice based in Singapore. With a mix of designers from diverse backgrounds, its purpose is to create integrated design for the built environment, encompassing masterplanning, architectural, landscape, interior & lighting and furniture design.

Open to Singaporeans and their partners. Admission to the event is complimentary, but attendees should register beforehand so that we can estimate accurately the seating for the meeting and the quantity of food that we shall be requesting. Please note that the lunch menu will be Asian/halal.
