Senior Accountant / Finance Manager
- Singapore listed company
- Based in Munich, Germany
- Full expatriate position

Responsibilities
· Supervise and oversee the preparation of the full sets of accounts including the accounts receivables, accounts payables, fixed assets register, bank reconciliations and general ledgers of the Group
· Liaise with auditors for reporting pack and statutory audit
· Liaise with German tax authorities for VAT and Corporate tax filing
· Advise GM (based in Singapore) on day-to-day operational matters covering IT, HR & Office administration functions.

Requirements
· Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
· 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail industry.
· Familiar with both German and International Financial Reporting

Standard. Prior experience in accounts consolidation an advantage
· Familiar with SAP and conversant with MS-Office application esp.

Buddy Bear Design Competition

As part of the 2015 SG50 festivities which also coincide with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Germany, the Singapore Embassy in Berlin is organising a design competition for a fibreglass buddy bear. The competition was recently launched and more info on the design competition can be found here.
